I was one when Bush senior was elected, so I can’t say I recall that much. When Clinton was elected in 1992 however, I was in kindergarten, and can pull some hazy memories. I remember having a classroom vote, wherein we were instructed to circle (in crayon, natch) our choice. I believe I circled Ross Perot, because I liked the name.
