nickdouglas: Ever accidentally walk into that East Village guy’s home because you thought it was an antique shop? Someone interviewed him and it turns out he’s terribly beautiful. “This Is My Home” by Departure Arrival Films. This is awesome.

The Adventures of Pete & Pete remains a gleaming paragon of this DIY/indie/punk-integrated-into-children’s-programming mentality. “It was that downtown Manhattan sensibility,” said Katherine Dieckmann (that’s “Deekman,” to...

Me (internally): COME ON. We are all products of billions of years of evolution and mutation, and it just so happens that one evolutionary trait we've inherited is a sneeze reflex when something gets into our respiratory tract that isn't supposed to be there. Me (to coworker): Thanks.

Cute that some nerd figured this out.
kateism: Copy/Paste into Google: sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7) *(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5 Between this and “Total Eclipse of the Heart” playing in the office, I have a feeling it’s going to be a very digital Valentine’s Day. You’ve all been warned.
