My name is James. James Del actually. I work at a place called Gawker Media, something I find myself explaining to my parents every time I see them. They'll get it one day. Summer blew, now it’s over and we head into the most overrated season ever devised. Yes, there are some nice crisp days, and pretty trees for about a week, but the direction is negative. Each week is worse than the one before, and it leads to a negative outcome - gray skies, slush, freezing rain and puddles on every corner, wet socks, darkness and desolation.
Hopefully the same global warming that wrecked summer will rescue Fall. I hope it’s 80° on November 1.
