My name is James. James Del actually. I work at a place called Gawker Media, something I find myself explaining to my parents every time I see them. They'll get it one day. I don't believe in Twitter, but I do believe in Facebook and LinkedIn. There's a Myspace page out there too, but never mind that. Questions, concerns, and comments can be directed to James, At-Sign Gawker, Period Com.

Hope all you Fall freaks are happy.

peterfeld:

Summer blew, now it’s over and we head into the most overrated season ever devised. Yes, there are some nice crisp days, and pretty trees for about a week, but the direction is negative. Each week is worse than the one before, and it leads to a negative outcome - gray skies, slush, freezing rain and puddles on every corner, wet socks, darkness and desolation.

Hopefully the same global warming that wrecked summer will rescue Fall. I hope it’s 80° on November 1.

This.
