My name is James. James Del actually. I work at a place called Gawker Media, something I find myself explaining to my parents every time I see them. They'll get it one day. Election Day in the US is the first Tuesday in November, because it’s after the harvest but before harsh winter weather (these things mattered in 1792).
Before 1845, election day was determined by individual states, as long as the day was within 34 days of the Electoral College convening in early December.
Anyway, doesn’t matter who you vote for as long as you vote. GO FORTH!
