There’s a song where the chorus says something like “Days Go By” (it could be Time, Life, or something else going by), but I could not find it for the life of me. I had the melody in my head, but good luck telling that to a search engine.
It’s a late 90’s chick rock song, and I’ve spent the last hour listening to every Natalie Merchant/Imbruglia, Paula Cole, Sarah MacLachlin, Jewel, Dido, Cranberries, etc etc single I could find on Youtube.
I originally was going to enlist the help of Tumblr to figure out what song it was, but after checking a hot tip from Last.FM (artists that sound like Paula Cole), I stumbled upon Shawn Colvin’s “Sunny Came Home,” which is exactly the song I was looking for.
