From: James Del <jamesd@repnation.com> Hey Everyone- Let me first just say, for those of you who have never written this type of email before (like me), it’s a trip. I feel like I’m about to sign my best friend’s high school yearbook (which was 2 and a half years ago, by the way. What were you doing in 2005?). It has been an absolute dream working with everyone here, in the nightmarish type of way. We worked hard and we played hard, especially when it came to ping pong and Guitar Hero. Answering tech support emails from clueless college students will be missed greatly, as will answering tech support from clueless Associate Managers. I can only hope that my future business trips are half as good as my trips to Boston and Philly, though it saddens me that likely won’t be the case. Scooting around the office was always an adventure of epic proportions, hyperbolically speaking. Above all else though, everyone should know what an amazing company you work for. I had the opportunity to work real close with your fearless leader for the last 8 months (Brandon), and he’s got some incredible things planned for everyone here. He has the ability to take RepNation to the stars, so do what you can to stick with him (unlike me, who can no longer handle his genius). Just kidding! The new portals are just the first step. I guarantee there are bigger things in store, and I regret not being around long enough to see everything through. But alas, the Network Strategy Department will be temporarily closed. I start on Monday in Advertising Operations at Gawker Media…feel free to stay in touch at my new email address,james@gawker.com. I’m excited to start fresh, but I’m going to miss most of you (let’s be honest, Mr Youth, I don’t know all of your names. Too many freelancers!).
