My name is James. James Del actually. I work at a place called Gawker Media, something I find myself explaining to my parents every time I see them. They'll get it one day. I don't believe in Twitter, but I do believe in Facebook and LinkedIn. There's a Myspace page out there too, but never mind that. Technically, the best life skill I learned in school was cheating.

In my 9th grade Advanced English class, my teacher came in on the first day and said: “Ok, just as a heads up, I know you’re all full of shit. Being in the advanced class just means you guys know how to cheat better than the rest of this school, and that’s fine. Just don’t bullshit me.” Coolest teacher ever.
