I saw your name mentioned in a friend’s (Joe Coscarelli) Gawker guest post and I remembered contacting you 4+ years ago on MySpace (ha) to ask about NYU, Gallatin, and Weezer (ha again).
I just wanted to thank you for giving me advice back then. Gallatin was perfect for me and I graduated one semester early this January. I’m now working in emerging media at JWT (global ad agency). Glad to see you’re at Gawker - congrats and thanks again!
I imagine this is the kinda feeling teachers have when a student comes back years later and isn’t an abject failure at life.
